Introduction ambiante pour la pièce “Ils sortent la nuit”, Disparaître évoque un malaise irrationnel quasi-paranormal. Les notes jouées par la basse sont basées sur les fréquences vibratoires orientales, utilisées entre-autre pour traiter l’insomnie et l’anxiété, selon la médecine traditionnelle chinoise. Pour combler l’espace du spectre audible, on retrouve le son modulé de cymbales joué à l’archet, rappelant ainsi la musicalité de l’angoissant waterphone.
